VIEWING OTHER PROFILES
The profiles of other site members can be a great place to learn more about one another and to see what your fellow site members have gotten up to on the website.
To learn about how to view other users' profiles, please read through the steps below.
From whatever page you happen to be on within the Facilitated Communication Interactive Community website, click on 'Members' in the menu at the top of the screen.
You will be taken to a page that looks like the one below. To find the profile you want to view, you can either scroll through the profiles, or you can type the name of the user into the 'Find a member' bar just above the first row of member profiles.
Once you have found the profile you want to view, click on the user's profile image. You will then be taken to that user's profile page which will look similar to the image below.
From this page you can choose to follow the user so you are notified when they contribute to the website in any way. You can do this by clicking 'Follow' under the user's profile picture.
You can also see what forum posts and comments the user has made on the website, as well as which events they have RSVP'd for. You can do this by clicking the relevant link in the grey box under the box with the profile picture.
You can also start a chat with this specific user by clicking the icon of the speech bubble next to the 'Follow' button. This will open up the chat box in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
